Italy's Ski Slopes Opening Soon
ANSA reported the government's COVID committee gave the green light for Italy's ski slopes to reopen on February 15, 2021. The scientific and technical committee's authorization on February 4th is for the majority of Italy's regions that are moderate to low risk yellow zones and not for the few that are orange or red.
On February 2, 2021, the U.S. CDC issued a Level 4 Travel Alert, which says 'travelers should avoid all travel to Italy. If you must travel, get tested with a viral test 1–3 days before your trip.'
Furthermore, all air passengers coming to the USA, including U.S. citizens, are required to have a negative COVID-19 test result or documentation of recovery from COVID-19 before they board a flight. See the FAQ for more information.
