Global Level 4 Travel Advisory Lifted
On August 6, 2020, the US Department of State announced it had lifted the Global Level 4 Health Advisory, which advised U.S. citizens to avoid all international travel due to the global impact of the COVID-19 disease pandemic. The Global Advisory was issued on March 19, 2020.
However, the State Department is issuing country-specific levels of travel advice (with Levels from 1-4 depending on country-specific conditions), in order to give travelers detailed and actionable information to make informed travel decisions. As of August 6th, a significant number of countries have been issued Level 4, Do Not Travel Advisories.
